About this Project
This Starbucks location in Morton Grove used exterior fin panels to give a standard retail box a distinctive street-facing identity. AAPG fabricated and supplied the fin system to the architect's spacing and profile requirements, giving the storefront a rhythm and shadow line that reads clearly from the street and parking lot.
Exterior fins are a simple, effective way to add architectural interest to a compact retail footprint, and this project shows how a relatively small building can carry a strong facade with the right panel detailing.
