About this Project
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital needed a reception feature that could anchor a large, light-filled atrium without feeling like a standard front desk. AAPG supplied a custom curved reception counter, built with wood veneer casework sides and a quartz work surface, sized to hold its own in a multi-story lobby space.
The counter's rounded form and warm wood finish give an arrival point in a major medical facility a welcoming, less clinical presence, while the quartz top keeps the working surface durable for the daily demands of a hospital reception desk.
